Mark Leuba Joins Moodlerooms from American Public University System
Baltimore, MD — Moodlerooms, Inc., provider of open, connected and sustainable learning management solutions wrapped around an open-source core, has added Mark Leuba to its Information Technology team as Chief Technology Officer. Mark will be leading Moodlerooms’ continued efforts to deliver a reliable and scalable architecture, as well as developing and testing joule enhancements.

Mark will be leading Moodlerooms’ continued efforts to deliver a reliable and scalable architecture, as well as developing and testing joule enhancements.
Previously the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for American Public University System (APUS), Mark has three decades of technology experience, including an extensive knowledge of academically aligned technology and high-availability architectures. During his time at APUS, a publicly traded for-profit, accredited online university system, Mark developed and maintained technologies that allowed APUS to deliver quality distance learning to more than 50,000 students worldwide and sustain historic annual growth exceeding 35% each year.
For 10 years prior to joining APUS, Mark was a key member of the technology management team at Random House where he served as Vice President of Shared Service Applications. Mark also served in senior technology positions with CSX, a Fortune 50 company, and Prudential Home Mortgage, a leader in mortgage securities innovation.
