Baltimore, MD — Moodlerooms, Inc., provider of the enterprise learning management system, joule, is pleased to announce its participation in the third annual Palmetto Open Source Software Conference (POSSCON). Taking place April 15 - 17, POSSCON strives to spread awareness of quality open-source educational solutions to the Southeastern United States.
Appearing Friday, April 16, 2010, Moodlerooms Chief Technology Officer, Mark Leuba, will discuss how open-source educational software is developed, distributed and supported, and how its proliferation is impacting today’s universities.
“The Palmetto Open Source Software Conference is a unique opportunity to interact with some of the most influential open-source software developers and entrepreneurs,” says Mark Leuba. “Moodlerooms is proud to participate in the conference and aid its efforts by providing reliable and economical open-source educational solutions to everyone.”
Featuring over thirty industry speakers and eight workshops, this year’s POSSCON will be held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center from April 15 through April 16, and at the University of South Carolina School of Public Health on April 17. Mark Leuba will be speaking on Friday, April 16, at 2:45 p.m. Additionally, Moodlerooms Director of Implementation, Terri Ann Bennett, will be conducting a three-part progressive Moodle training workshop over the course of Saturday, April 17, with sessions beginning at 10 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.
