Power, Moodlerooms’ traditional learning management solution, provides a stable, secure, fully maintained option for organizations that do not have the resources to host Moodle on their own. With no installation or maintenance required, our Power solution makes getting started easier than ever and provides ongoing technical support for continued success.
At the center of Power is open-source Moodle, the world’s most widely-used learning management system. Power makes it possible for educators to quickly harness the robust features and functionality of open-source Moodle to increase student engagement and success in the classroom. With a suite of enterprise-level services, Moodlerooms makes Power 2 available within a safe, secure, and fully supported environment, enabling educators and students to focus on teaching and learning.
Moodle is the foundation of the Power platform, and provides the fundamental feature set that instructors need to create quality online courses. Features are also continually added and updated through free Moodle upgrades.

Moodlerooms has added additional administrative tools and features to the Moodle code base. These Moodlerooms-developed features provide enhanced capabilities to the Power platform so that it can be run on an enterprise-level. Some of these features include (but are not limited to): automatic enrollment, control panel, single sign-on, enhanced interface design, administrative reporting, and enterprise security.
Maintenance
To ensure a smooth user experience, Moodlerooms includes ongoing maintenance and administrator support with every solution. Our in-house help desk provides general support to address “how-to” questions as well as technical support to address performance issues.
Hosting
Moodlerooms will host your Power platform on the largest Moodle cloud in the world, supported in a world-class data center that is owned and operated by our partner, Dell. We continuously monitor the performance of our servers and offer an optimized, fully redundant and high availability hosting architecture that provides a 99.99% uptime.
Training
Several training options are available for purchase on the Power platform. Our synchronous and asynchronous training options can teach your instructors and administrators how to use our solutions to their fullest potential.
